ABOUT H.265 HEVC:

The ITU has approved a new video format called H.265 High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) that could bring 4k video to future broadband networks, while also making streaming HD video available even on bandwidth-constrained mobile networks was low.The new video format is the updated version of the H.264 codec format, which has been standardized after the release of the iPad and several other related devices. It seems attractive now, but it is obtained from the often used version Apple’s adoption of H.264 and implication on HTML5-based video players was controversial — especially since most  of the videos which are used before the iPad was encoded in VP6 and they are played through Adobe’s proprietary Flash player.

FEATURES:

H.265 enables publishers to stream 1080p videos with about half as many bits as required with standard format. If the network connectivity is good then,H.265 could enable even more higher-quality video. If the 4K TVs becomes available, then there’s an opportunity for even greater video resolution. In H.265 codec format, 4K streaming is possible with as little as 20-30 Mbps of bandwidth. software-based encoders will be available by the end of the year, the codec won’t be able to provide mass adoption until it gets embedded into chips and hardware, the first devices with H.265 hardware acceleration will be much inspired.

CONCLUSION:

H.265 codec is much useful and likely to be more advanced video format. This video format  will provide better clarity and resolution. hence there is no doubt, this is enhanced type of video format .
