About College :MURUGAPPA POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE has emerged as a Polytechnic College of Excellence during the past five decades. It was started in August 1957 as a Government Aided Institution by AMM Foundation previously known as AMM Charities Trust, Chennai. The Institution is situated on a 12.5-hectare campus in the western part of Chennai on the Chennai - Tiruvallore High Road and is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education.
